Botswana

Botswana in southern Africa is a unique gem of nature. A vast country, sparsely populated, but rich in wildlife and stunning landscapes. For many travelers who truly get to know Botswana rather than just skimming its edges, it becomes the highlight of their African journeys. Explore our photos and videos here, or join us on one of these trips yourself.

Tanzania

The landscapes and national parks of Tanzania are world-famous: the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Mount Kilimanjaro, Lake Natron, and much more. Our photos and videos offer a glimpse into this ancient heart of Africa. Here, along the Great African Rift Valley, lies the cradle of humanity. The breathtaking beauty of nature and wildlife continually gives us goosebumps. We can never get enough of it. A selection of these photos and videos is available here.

Zanzibar

The small island off the east coast of Tanzania presents a very different image compared to mainland Tanzania. Zanzibar is a melting pot of diverse cultures from Asia, Africa, and Arabia. Its world-famous dream beaches glisten like a green emerald in the sunlight. Zanzibar exudes oriental magic and African charm. This is reflected in its architecture—especially in the small capital, Stone Town—as well as in the character of Zanzibar’s people.

Madagascar

For a long time, Madagascar was like a white spot on maps—somewhat shrouded in mystery and visited by only a few travelers. This veil seems to be slowly lifting. Here, you can see many photos and videos of the wonderful landscapes, of people who seem to live in another time, and of animals that are found only here in Madagascar. A still very pristine country, mixed here and there with French charm.

Ethiopia

How can one briefly describe Ethiopia? Bizarre landscapes in the northeast, featuring almost surreal scenes of deserts and geothermal areas. In the north, ancient castles, monasteries, and churches trace back to the origins of Christianity. In the south, many traditional tribal cultures thrive, with people who seem to live in a completely different era. Photographing these people is not always easy, but once you establish a connection, you gain the chance to capture unique photos—images of their villages and fascinating portraits.
