About us

The idea for a photo project came to Bernd Bieder in the alleyways of Saigon, where he had often been traveling since 1994. The first camera equipment in his pocket and a passion for travel and photography deep in his chest. This is how the company "Exotic Journeys", which he still runs today, was founded. Over the years, this has led to well over a hundred trips all over the world, mainly to Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Today, he is at home in Germany with his family in the Spreewald, an hour south of Berlin. Here in the store he is supported by his wife Katja Bieder.
